Team does need a legit offensive threat. Someone who can create chances for others. Alexander Nylander!
- manvanfan

I like Nylander but after diving into the analytics side it could go either way with him I think. 20 of his 75 points were second assists. Not a bad thing at all but he didn't seem to drive the play. More like a good winger that needs a good playmaker/power forward to create chances and space for him.

In short, a complimentary possible top line player.

He is only 170 pounds so it'll be a bit more of a project too.

Tkachuk and Dubois are both better all around, and better suited for the West.

Clayton Keller fits that mold.

He's my favorite player from the top 15.

Looks like Lucic is heading to free agency. Please for the love of god Benning, don't go all in on him. If he really wants to play in his hometown for the rest of his career? Make him come too us with an offer we can't refuse.

Great sample size, i'd start listing all the players that are over 6 foot, that are better than all listed except kane, but it would take awhile. BTW Duchene may be only 5'11" but he is built like horvat. Kid has weight to him. Monahan makes a lot of room for Gaudreau to work, not to say he isn't good, he is amazing, but still has that player who does it. Kane is on a whole other level. There is not a single player in the game like him. Fabri, Domi, Ehlers have bigger players with them making room.

well Alex is still 6' Keller is like 5'9" lol.

I still think Tkachuk helps the team out best in the nearest future. Dubious helps the team out long term. I like Chychrun because he is steady and a beast. I think of him like Seabrook. Pair him with stecher. Anyways, nope Nylander is just another option if Van trades down, makes the pick, or forgets they are on the clock.

I just don't want him even if it is for short term or money, that said I predict he gets signed for a minimum of 5 years at 6 million per year.

More likely 7 years at 7 million.

- belcherbd

Isn't LA the only team that can sign him for 7 years?
