Just heard on the radio the Lucic has now officially confirmed that he will not be signing with the Kings prior to Free Agency.

Just curious what happens if both Dubois and Tkachuk are gone by the time the Canucks pick. I guess the default pick would be Puljujarvi? (assuming Matthews and Laine are taken of course). It seems he's sort of been the odd man out when it comes to all of the scrutiny and analysis on these boards, with Tkachuk and Dubois getting all the attention. As such, just wondering if anyone has a good synopsis of what Puljujarvi's skills and talents are (especially if there is anyone that has seen him play in person) and also if he would be a good fit with the Canucks? |

Edler Tanev
Hutton Gudbrandson
Sbisa Tryamkin
Pedan Biega
Screw Hamhuis let's move on , no need to go backwards.
- VANTEL
The only way Hamhuis should be resigned is if Sbisa is moved and Hamhuis is resigned at that cap hit or less...
the odds of this happening? Tuesdays
If Sbisa can be moved, I think I'd rather see Larssen signed and maybe a cheap ufa dman acquired for depth, similar to a Stanton. We really should move on from Hamhuis, good luck to him.
Trade Sbisa (part of package for mid to low 1st or 2nd?)
Sign Hammy to mentor Try
Sign Larssen
Larssen / Pedan / Beiga fight it out for 7/8 with loser being waved to AHL / KHL as needed.
Keep 8 D on roster cause they will need them all very quickly. |

So i doubt we are trading Hansen. Wouldn't make sense to have him at the draft party and then trade him away. |

I just don't want him even if it is for short term or money, that said I predict he gets signed for a minimum of 5 years at 6 million per year.
More likely 7 years at 7 million. |

If we get pulj at 5 then he slots in with the twins next season and benning probably dances to the stage. |

Isn't he like 28? 7 years isn't that bad as he would be 35.... |

They could be setting him up. Have the camera on him, Bettman announces "we have a trade"... The Washington Capitals trade their 1st round pick to the Vancouver Canucks for... Would be must see television. |

We are not signing Lucic. We didnèt take him when we were a soft team so now that we are tougher why would we bother? |

His best years are behind him. I hope we don't go there. We need to either pick up some scoring ability (down 50 goals last season from the previous season) or take on some salary from Detroit, Colombus or Minnesota to pick up a high draft pick and a prospect.
Have a bad feeling that JB likes what Lucic brings though. |

Team does need a legit offensive threat. Someone who can create chances for others. Alexander Nylander! |
