It seems a bit fecked up. If Subban isn't a #1, he is at least a top pairing dman.

Right from the start it seems like the Montreal management group didn't like him. It is hard enough finding a dynamic top pairing guy like that, it is a little surprising they can be that fickle.

Hearing conjecture about #Canucks trading down, maybe taking Brown, but just don't think they're going lower than 5th tonight.

what player would you overspend on?

I look at a guy like Jamie Benn who is ufa next season as a player to overspend on, or I guess Stamkos this season. I'd hate to overspend on a lesser player and that stops you from being in the market for a bigger fish later.

Free agency is the silly season.

I hope JB is looking at a trade wih a cap strapped team for a younger pending rfa.

The Stars would be crazy to let Benn walk, but he is the type of player to break the bank on.

in regards to rfa's, someone (might have been classic) listed Tampa's pending rfa's and they have a few that will need raises, if Stamkos signs there, they might be looking to unload one.
