Their forwards isn't too big of a deal really ...if they got rid of one of those forwards they'd be ok, but Tyutin is killing them on the back end with the likes of Jones, Murray, Johnson, savard

Actually people around here might wanna warp their head around that. As time passes I don't see Brouwer coming here it's looking more and more like Eriksson and Lucic after a bit more cap space is freed up. I'm actually ok with both playing in Van just not busting the bank for them.

I forgot about expansion. That is really going to throw a wrinkle in a lot of teams plans.

Trade was that MLSE could pick up his salary which CBJ didn't want to pay in return for taking Clarkson. Cap hit for Leafs mitigated by LTIR. Without stipulation on long term injured in passion rules, it would have been a problem having to protect him (although he could have waived his NMC.
