Serious question, so if you're a player in the NHL, are you allowed to go to a sports book in a casino and bet on your team? Its legal to bet on sports in Las Vegas....

What the sportsbooks will do is eliminate any betting on the Las Vegas team or eliminate the hockey betting period.

During NCAA BB, you can't bet on UNLV in any game in Vegas.

Do Indian Gaming locations have sports books? I didn't think so. I know the Jersey Casinos only do horse racing currently as there is a US law about sports gaming only allowed in Nevada, Delaware, Montana and Oregon.

You're referring to a law from 1991 known as PASPA. This covers land based wagering, and it's largely known that it wouldn't (and doesn't) stand up against challenges from online sports betting, especially because most of those sites are themselves based in Nevada, yet you can access them for most states as long as the state doesn't have specific laws prohibiting it....and few do.

Remove Engelland and put in Wideman and I'll think about it.

If its Hall they're going after it'd take much more than Samheim, maybe him and Simmonds gets the conversation started, but they're looking for high end defense, and we don't have much of that to offer, Provorov could fit the bill, but I can't see them putting him on the table, and I would be extremely pissed if they did.

Some of the streets are a mess, and expect some bent wheels from the potholes, but a lot of the city is quite nice, especially the Harbor. My guess is you have never been there, or not in the last 5 yrs.

It also is a great hockey town, and very close to Canada. Once the team is competitive they will have no issues with ppl wanting to play there. And they quite well might be pretty good this year too, and will be for the forseeable future.

The only good thing about Tampa is that they birthed Death Metal, the strip clubs, St. Pete and Ybor City.
