I hate to say it but this would truly make us competitive. Also on your other post I would be very surprised if benny traded down within the division like that. We need a cornerstone forward for the future. I don't see it. BPA unless the offer is absolutely out of this world.

Im probably in the minority but I hope we strike out on all the ufas, I'm just not a big fan of them or what they're gonna cost.. A homerun season to me this year is if we're in the exact same spot again next year. Drafting top 5. Hopefully having traded Burrows, Miller and possibly Hansen at the tdl.. For me....I'm 100% with you, no to the UFA's, except Lucic...because of his age, and Stamkos of course, but that ain't happening. Build from within. When you've got a good core of young players, then add UFA's.

I would be SHOCKED if Pulj slips to 4...He has accomplished so much more than PLD. I supposed there is a small chance Tkachuk swaps places but definitely not PLD and Pulj.

If Puljujarvi falls to 4th I'd think Edmonton tries to trade it in a package to get that top 2 dman.

JB has done most of the heavy lifting already. I do think we will sign Eriksson 4x6 .
Expect Sedins and LE as your top line for the next 4 years. Expect Edler to be here the next 4 years. Expect JB to select Tkachuk or Dubois this year. If not he will finish off building the D.

Expect Dubois to go back to jr. Expect Tkachuk to play now seeing he is better than any forward we have not named Sedin.

Expect Boeser and Demko to be in the lineup 2017.

And lastly expect JB now to keep his draft picks and bring them in slowly after this year.

Last year we missed the playoffs , but if we won 6 more games in regulation then we would have been there. This team this year will be better and hopefully healthier. We lost a lot of games last year in the third period.

to a cheapish contract, Yotes don't come across as a team to have a big goalie budget with Smith already taking home 6.5mil (5.6milcap hit).

I hope JB only signs one ufa like Eriksson and is able to make a move with a cash strapped team for a young player that will need a raise this or next season.
