Bossy.

9 straight 50 goal seasons

5 of which were 60+

573 goals in 752gp

Or Brett Hull

IMO of course.

Bossy, Trotts and Gillies were dominant, absolutely dominant. Nobody messed with them, Gillies made sure of that.

This might be a new location........

You have to remember my age. In 95, he was nowhere near the player he was when he dominated.

You really should. Bure was, in my opinion second only to Lemieux in his pure, goal scoring ability.

Imagine what that junior line would have looked like in the nhl. Bure-fedorov-mogilny.

Bossy was great. 4 straight cups are nice too. Kinda hard to compare eras. I was watching bossy highlights a few months ago- him screaming down the right wing, taking a few steps over the blue line, and wiring a shot over a 5'8" goalies shoulder. A goalie wearing two courier express weekday editions strapped to his spindly legs. His accomplishments are amazing, but bure played in the trap era, where bigger goalies wore sofa cushions. I heard bossy retired at 30 because he smoked north of 2 packs a day. Would have been nice to see him play a few more years and get to 700.

He's saying the only reason they got vesey (best friend )was to ease the pain of Sam when they trade him which is Jacks buddy

Murray said they are targeting three guys at 8. The group 4-7 they don't expect to be there. He said maybe one or two will be gone before that but he knows at least 1 will be.

I have to suspect the three are

Alex Nylander
Mikaehl Sergechev
Jacob Chychrun

There's only one I think he could draft so I can't make the bet. At eight it's just far too unpredictable and I personally think it will be Nylander as the dark horse Chychrun as the favorite. But I think Sergechev would be the wild card.

Im not even going to worry about those three players to be honest I am honestly thinking we're going to move up in the draft like it's a sealed deal

I don't think so.

Here's the way I see it...

75% stay at 8
20% trade 8 for a top LHD
5% trade up to 4 (3 seems like it's a definite no go)

He's basically that guy that just brags and brags and brags about how great his team Is

I'm just happy I did not get to see him be happy about drafting Matthews
My dad said he was ready to drop him off at the border

Excellent post.

Might I add perhaps Giroux and Perry as possibilities.

Defensemen.

OEL
Weber
Subban
Karlsson
Keith
Seabrook

- JVince11

I think you're reaching w Giroux & Perry...
BUT
Isn't the point that NONE of those other guys are available?!
And IF by some chance they were,
We'd have to trade assets we wouldn't wanna give up...
Right?!

So, IMO...
It's not a question of whether or not Ovi, Crosby, (or whoever) is better than Stamkos.
That's all just BS

It's obvious Stamkos is an elite goal scorer that would help our team
The only real question that needs to be discussed/answered...
Is he worth the Cap hit we'll have to sign him for?

I can understand ppl who'd say no
But I'd love if we got him

Definitely in the playoffs next year if he's on our team
And if goaltending holds up,
and we find a legit partner for Risto...
I think we challenge Tampa for the division
