The point I originally raised was the taken out of context quote by Murray about the "best centerman". I said Stamkos isn't and listed 6 guys that are/will be better. And it just got whacky from there.

And somewhat tangentially related to that. With the "it's only an extra $2M". Ask Chicago if they'd take $2M in cap space about now. Or St. Louis.

Thats interesting. I mean if you cant get your left shot D next best would be a guy who is capable of playing on that side or i guess if you're confident in moving risto there. Im a little surprised they wont pull the trigger on Faulk though. Checks off a lot of boxes especially if the + is on their side.
