Id have to go back and see who drafted who, was it the same regime? and things like who was picked where and how they looked. But you do make a good point, too much of a good thing or a good prospect pool is never a bad thing - poohcrumbs
Pogge 3rd round 2004, Rask 1st round 2005.
Still though, it's not like 1st round goalies don't flame out. It's a pretty important position, i'd spend a few picks on if for organizational depth. |

At least last year there was a system and they were trying, and you could giggle at Babcock's permanent 'where-did-I-leave-my-damn-keys' expression. But yeah, I could definitely be accused of not watching the games. I mainly got the gist of it by refreshing this thread.
The Horachuk half season was...I don't know...the best way I could describe it would be being force fed dog poop, dog poop that was squeezed out of your own dog's bumhole by the car that ran him over in front of you, a really expensive car that was driven by a guy getting road head from your ex-girlfriend. I expect this year to be much better. - Zezel

Even though I hate that Komagod isn't the God you worship, you are better than this Wedgie. Please save yourself for Spatso, Vancouver fans and Iggy.

I don't see the point of these.
It's too big to actually eat without wearing half of it, and it's too much food for one human to actually eat without feeling sick.
Great picture.
Lousy meal. |

Shouldn't you be hating lobster, and telling your grandkids stories about how only the poor kids used to eat lobster? They'd bring lobster tails in their lunch boxes and be beaten up because of it... |

In Vancouver one really, really hot day my cab driver was drinking cream soda and milk. He swore it helped keep you cool and that it was an old trick they used in India. |

The #Leafs cap currently includes the salaries of Horton & Robidas. Every team can exceed the cap by 10% during the summer.

Toronto is likely to trade Bozak's $4.2M cap hit to a team looking for center depth & could trade or buyout Bernier. #Leafs |

I eat it about once or twice a month. It's pretty (frank)ing inexpensive though, like ground beef pricing almost.
I prefer scallops and newfie shrimp with pasta. |

The last backup goalie the Leafs traded for and signed worked out so well, so why not try it again?? LOL
Anderson is a huge goalie and built like an NFL Linebacker at 6'4" 240lbs. He's only 26 and could improve with the starting job guaranteed and no pressure from a guy like Gibson and outplayed by Pekka Rinne this spring. Though, he got absolutely picked apart by the Hawks in the 2015 WCF and has had a sub .920 save % in his first two seasons (with a superior defense in front of him compared to Morgan Reilly and...??). Also, seems like a bit of an overpayment on AAV+term for a guy that has 2 years of NHL experience and was splitting time in Anaheim. Good Luck! - EnzoD
What kind of bi-polar, schizophrenic freak of nature troll are you. Be consistent with the hate so I fully know I can't stand you. People from all the teams coming to tamper the Leafs progress. I don't get it but regardless suck my right hairy nut... please. |

It's odd that a fan of a team that won three cups in six years, will feel the need to troll another fan base. |

IIRC, Andersen and Crawford were both fantastic for the 1st 3 games of that series. Both were less than exemplary for the remainder though it's kind of hard to fault them as that was a ridiculously high flying final 4 games between them. Looking less than stellar against the eventual Stanley Cup winner can be forgiven.
He may not be a top 5 stud goalie but it gives the Leafs a guy who has playoff experience while we hopefully draft a tender who will be a star.
I'm cautiously optimistic. The jury is still out on whether this was good value or the latest goalie debacle... |
