I was so zen and had let go of all expectations in these last years. Now I feel a Kool Aid binge manic phase coming on.

What would it feel like to watch games thinking things like, if they win this and that game over this stretch, they could get to this place in the standings? What the (frank) is that even like?

Yeah, I don't want to sound like every Leafs fans since 1991, but frank, if we can just get one more top-4 defenceman, this team will be watchable next year.

I mean, they were franking putrid last year. I stopped watching.

Will they make the playoffs next year? Maybe, maybe not.

But at least I know I'm watching a product that will grow and get better. Not that bunch of crap castoff placeholder arse-faces that wore the blue and white last year.

Save yourself the disappointment and head to a real one. Churrasco Villa at Eglinton and Mt. Pleasant is a thousand times better than Nando's.

I've lived close enough to Little Portugal to have had a bunch of them, and also to really, really need Rinaldo to lose soccer games for my peace of mind. But as far as franchise chicken places go, a peri peri option is intriguing.

Yeah I lived there for a while and that's what I found. It wasn't any harder to deal than cold in Ontario. And the dryness in the summer was nice, the humid heat in Ontario is crushing.

Getting Andersen should have no impact on the Leafs' draft goalie plans this Saturday.

We have Andersen for the next 5 years.

No way in hell any kid selected in the 2nd round is going to be a starter in the NHL before the age of 24, so draft away.

2 more years of junior. 2 more years of AHL. 2 more years of backup.

Anderson will no doubt fall flat on his face and we'll be poope, but seriously, what a turnaround on paper. Easier said than done, but my gosh, management are sorting things out. And to think, we were talking about JVR for Anderson. Wowzers

Exciting news about Andersen! Lucas should be happy. I saw he was talking up Andersen in his blog the other day.

The price is a bit high, but if Andersen is as good as Lou Lams no doubt thinks he is (considering he has already signed him for 5 years at 5 mil per) then it's worth it, especially considering the plethora of picks we have right now. Totally worth it!

Great job Toronto management! Go after the guy you want and find a way to get him. Glad they were proactive rather than sitting on their thumbs hoping prices would drop while the best options went elsewhere.

Look forward to seeing Andersen in the blue and white next year.
