I don't know what is more amazing: that someone thinks that veteran goalies on expensive contracts have any value after watching (yet again) another kid win a championship, or that someone would have to give up more than a case of beer to get said overrated goalie on a bad contract.

I realize he's Vesey's dad, but should he really be commenting publicly about the contract situation of a player owned by another team? He's a leafs employee.

Their comments have been all over the board. Earlier in the year there were reports that his father didn't want him to play for Boston.

Not entirely shocking but theyd be moronic to trade for his rights without having some sort of understanding that it would lead to a deal getting done before that. I guess time will tell.

I wouldn't be so sure. Murray said himself he's taking a shot. It's 50/50 as far as im concerned. There have been 10x the reports he's signing in Boston then there have been Buffalo

What isn't these days? People just can't let it play out have to create some type of drama. Funny how people should put themselves in his shoes the kid gets to pick where he wants to play, takes other players sometimes 7 years to achieve that right. Murray is taking a gamble but he's proactive that's all we can ask for.
