As far as I know it's still ELC, neither Schultz nor Dekeyser were signed by the teams that drafted them.

Edit: Looks like Dekeyser was never drafted. I know Schultz was by Anaheim though.

Vesey just played with Eichel, they have been friends for years per reports. For all you skeptics...

Call it tampering, call it whatever you like. Jack and Jimmy just played together. If it is tampering or not I can't imagine the subject of "where are you looking to sign" didn't come up. Of course Jack probably wants his friend to play with him and being that this will be one of the biggest decisions of the kid's life, Jimmy probably wants to talk about it with a friend. If it was a friend you trust you can talk about that knowing he's not going to "turn you in".

If that is logical, then GMTM knows whats going on. If Jimmy would have told Jack, you know Chicago really wants me I hear and I want to win a cup next year...this trade wouldn't have taken place. I'm not saying this is a done deal, but this idea that it's a complete shot in the dark is unreal. I could care less what agents say.

Difference is Vesey is tied by the CBA...

TM knows more about Vesey's interest in coming to Buffalo than he will tell unless you are hanging with him in a bar in a few years.

I think he told Eichel something but now his agents are posturing. Now, I hope they seal the deal to get the Sabres another good player and shut Leafs fans up.

His agent is the same agent that represents Eichel and I think Risto as well. He is not exactly going to want to be in bad graces with GMTM.

Maybe it isn't Risto but it's another top guy. Maybe ROR or Reinhart. I just remember that Eichel shared an agent with someone here already.
