Can't do it. Bologna is the downright nastiest of nasty.

Even the word is nasty. Lol

I rarely eat hot dogs too but they are a slight step up.

After reading Garth's thread . I would sell my soul to the devil to get Vessey and Stamkos just to shut Leaf fans up for 10 minutes . But then of course it will be , they let us as both players stink.

"The thing is with this years list of FA at the top, Stamkos might be the 4th or 5th best forward available...."

So in other words, we still didn't sign Olli and Steve Ott is not a center. I'm I correct ?

I realize he's Vesey's dad, but should he really be commenting publicly about the contract situation of a player owned by another team? He's a leafs employee.

Edit: The quote I'm alluding to: “I’m surprised this deal went down, but it’s still my understanding that he’s going to Aug. 15 and free agency,” said Jimmy Vesey’s dad, ex-Bruin Jim, tonight. “The game plan as of like (Sunday) was to have a list of possible (potential) teams ready, and get to Aug. 15 and then decide. I know nothing has changed. I bet Jimmy’s surprised by this, too.”

So in terms of defense....

Yandle - will end up in Florida
Goligoski - is in Arizona... I think he hits free agency but I don't think we stand a chance if he does.
Soupy- will likely either resign in Florida or go to back to Chicago I predict.
Fowler - Is likely our best option via trade but I get the sense his value is a lot higher then I originally suspected
Lindholm - Isn't going anywhere
Really doesn't leave us with much...
Brodin - Is an option but he doesn't have that great of numbers

We don't really have that great of options for the left side. Right side...

Demers - Over priced himself
Shattenkirk - A risk and likely overpay. I think Boston or NYR get him
Trouba/Barrie - Will have to give up a lot..

And he gave Clayton Keller huge Love

I hear ya on the conflict of interest level, but at the same time Jimmy's Dad didn't say anything that wasn't already known. They were just surprised. Regardless, he's a father first, so of course knows everything or near everything about his son's situation. No harm, no foul.

All that really happened today is that Murray and the Sabres organization have shown how serious and how committed they are to signing Jimmy... Now the real work begins.

I still think JV goes to the Bruins on August 15.

I think any one of the players that may fall to us will be very good for us. Nylander, Keller, Chychrun, Sergachev, etc. The more I hear about Keller the more I like him.

I realize that of course the 2 will talk privately about it, there is no stopping that. Just thought that it was a weird move for him to comment publicly, that's all.

And the more I hear about Chychrun the less I like about him. That he is a "man against boys" but has low hockey IQ.

The only risk here is PR but even still the timing of it all makes me think theyre confident this will get done before august 15.

I think the pick will come down to Nylander, Chychrun and Keller. I want it to be Segachev but Gerbe got in my head with that...

I think if Nylander is there Murray could view him as the top guy and just take him but my gut tells me with the Pegula connect and his body type and pedigree that Chychrun will be the pick and unfortunately now it's looking like a risk. I equate him to calling all in and chasing a straight.

Well funny you should say that because TSN right before the lottery compared him to said player...
