It actually isn't that inaccurate in play style. Lightning release, similar size, high compete level, smart defensive player, center/wing versatility, Wisconsin, both known to be massive chokers who wilt under pressure. - Mononoke
Morin will be Chris Pronger. Both are big, mean defenders and even look like each other a bit. |

Like the analytics that showed that Andrew Hammond wasnt a flash in the pan
the analytics that showed Niemi was worth the contract Dallas gave him
Or Lehtonen
Or Bobrovsky
Or Miller
Or Bernier... - YuenglingJagr
Well it's simple then, GM's should just simply use the analytics that fans have access to, and nothing else, since analytics, have never, ever, ever, been wrong. 600+ players in the NHL, analytics gets them all right! Any fan with access to analytics can run an NHL team.

Interesting. Let say the Flyers did trade for Hartnell (1/2 retained) and the 3rd overall.
1. What do they give up?
2. Who do they take a 3? - coffee junkie
1. #18, 2017 1st, Laughton, Sanheim.
Change Laughton to Simmonds or Schenn OR add another 2nd if needed.
2. Laine if he somehow slips, Jesse as the likely candidate. |

I don't think that Laughton, Simmonds, and Schenn are all on the same level. Maybe the latter two. |

They aren't, that's why I said change it to Schenn or Simmonds if needed as in if CBJ says improve the offer. Regardless, I'm sure they still say no. |

I am equally surprised. Before I wanted to dangle Neuvy to get more pick(s) but knew we wouldn't get back value that equals to what Neuvy could do this year for us , and with us not keeping both him and Mason beyond this season. But after today, I wouldn't be mad if Hexy could take advantage with the already moves setting the market somewhat. What do you think Neuvy realistically could fetch? - arichardson22
A late 2nd right now. Maybe more at the deadline if he has another .920 season but gets injured less often. |

Speaking of that. I saw that Matthews is 2 days away from being eligible for the 2015 draft. That close to going to Arizona at 3 |

Pairing the 3rd overall with Hartnell certainly hurts the value that CBJ gets for it. People saying you would need to give up the 18th, next years first, a top prospect and a guy like Schenn are high.

You know, I'm on the thread. Next time you can just say I'm high? Instead of just indirectly doing so. |

Im not a passive aggressive person. If I wanted to single you out I would have... however, there are a handful, and I didnt think I needed to research all who have touched on it.
Even if you were to trade to the 3rd, the 18th plus a top prospect and Schenn is an ENORMOUS overpayment. |

If you talk to Toronto fans, Matthews would have gone first overall last year. |
