There wasn't even a single stat in there. (frank), man. You probably think Golden Corral is too fancy an establishment too

No lie we went there on a family vacation back like 18-20 years ago. It was in Tennessee and it really hadnt come up to the north east yet. But we thought we had gone to heaven. It was this magical experience of any food you could get all for one ridiculous price. Amazing.

Fast forward to about 3-5 years ago and I saw one while traveling through Texas. Obviously the memories came pouring back in. Stopped. Ate.

I have to say...it was one of most traumatic experiences I have had in recent memory. My life wont ever be the same

With expansion coming Hartnell has to know not many teams are going to put it back in place post trade.

Then he has no real incentive to waive it. It doesn't hurt him. He gets paid and stays in NHL

Ive got my final list of guys possibly available at 18. In order from most wanted on down to guys I would move back for. * indicates guys I would take after moving back.

Bellows
McLeod
Rubstov
Bean
McAvoy
Kunin
Gauthier*
Jones*
Abramov*
Tufte*

I honestly feel like Kunin is going to be the pick though. Just seems like the kind of player our scouts like.

I know picks this year carry more weight than picks next year and usually at a round difference I think (i.e. to get a 2016 4th, you'd have to give up a 2017 3rd), but I'd be shocked if the Coyotes didn't give up the last pick of the 4th this year in lieu of a 3rd next year. I'd prefer the 3rd next year since it'll be a better pick and we already have 10 this year, but worst case scenario we get it this year and have more ammo. No problem with that.
- five4fighting10

Well, teams also have something of a feel when there's a strong or weak draft, too.

But that said, the sheer potential in disparity of the picks makes me think it's a no brainer to give up the 4th. Say Arizona gets the top pick next year. That's nearly a 60 draft slot swing in value(potentially 61 for 120)

Dreger just tweeted Shattenkirk is heating up, Blues probably can't extend him, lot of interest, especially Boston

I thought it only became a 3rd if they didnt have a 4th...so this is an interesting development

Who would you be on your list to move up if the price is right? It would be Brown and Keller for me

Wow. That's a high value rights swap for a kid who has been the King of Waffles. They have to feel good they can sign him. I'm sure playing in their top 6 is enticing if he isn't already in the Leafs/Bruins state of mind.

EDIT: They had 4 3rds. Definitely worth it then. I'd laugh so hard if he doesn't sign though.

He should sign in Buffalo. He'll be a third liner by the trade deadline in Toronto.

Realisticly I don't think we should trade away the pieces required to get into the top 3 but if Brown or Keller are still on the board around 10 I might have to pull the trigger on a deal.

Canes list at 13 probably goes:

Brown
Jost
McLeod
Gauthier
Bellows

The hope is that Tufte is still there at 21.
