Isn't Anderson basically Reimer? I'm not sure he's the answer in net so I'm not ecstatic about this trade. Better than Bernier though.

I don't profess to know a lot about Andersen (my mom doesn't let me stay up to watch the West Coast games) but my initial thought is I'd rather have signed Reimer and kept the picks.

It's a good trade. Andersen has shown much more promise than the gambling we would take drafting one. They may still draft one later. And we still have JVR on the team. All is good my leafy friends.

Andersen is an unproven starter just like those guys. That doesn't mean he can't be really damn good it's just he's still a question mark. NJ gambled on Schneider and he's been amazing but Toronto's history with this sort of thing is not that good.
