Yes, but as has been speculated before, there's only so many roster spots and contract spots to go around. You have to start whittling it down at some point. Can't rely on 5-for-Grabner type deals to be there all the time. If young established NHL players become available, you have to explore that, and be willing to trade some picks and prospects you deem expendable because we have them in abundance.
