I am so glad Benning got an early deal for a top 4 Dman

I like the deal despite what the critic's say.

Posted in the last thread as well...PLD is going to be a stud. Friday can't come soon enough

Im just assuming here. But like Carol said, he sure endorses Tkachuk. If he's available I bet we pick him. If not we move down 3 or 4 spots and add a pick or 2.
I could see Vancouver with strong interest in Okposo. He's young thus probably still in his prime when canucks prospects start developing. Whereas a guy like Loui Errickson is probably better currently but not for as long. 6/33 for Okposo?
I could also see van in on a Steve Ott or Troy Brouwer type. More grit and leadership

I hope EG influences Tryamkin and teaches Pedan.

Also. It appears at least to me that that canucks want to utilise the last couple yrs of the twins talent. Tkachuk is a perfect fit for these guys.

Tkachuk & Dubois both address team needs. I don't think JB is done dealing, you have to think he's trying to get that 2nd rounder back. I think he keeps 5 and does a different deal.

Ott was Gillis' interest can't see JB going after him. Okposo or Brouwer would be nice though. Looks like Backes is done in STL as well.

After watching Tckachuk here at Mem Cup closely I think he is the choice.

Even though Eriksson is the hot topic, Okposo is more consistent of what Benning has been doing.

Same, I was readin HF last night. Everyone there is the exact same as Phucker. It is like he has dozens of usernames. I also got an infraction for mentioning a certain ex-canucks well known coke problem, leading up to stage 2 rehab.

HF is the worst...I got a life time ban for saying that I saw Kassian doing coke in the Parlour washrooms

There is enough talent at the tip of the draft that addressing a need is a no brainier no matter what. He likes Brown as well

NYI reported looking to deal 19OA for a forward. Hansen anyone?

I'd rather have Eriksson. Schmaltz was a CHI 1st rd pick. (one of the years they didn't trade a 1st) didn't score much. Lot's of assists tho.

Wouldn't they be better to resign Nelson. And I'd love Vancouver to sell high on Hansen. But I doubt it happens

Okposo makes the most sense to me...in regards to the draft. Benning has been high on PLD and Tkachuk. I think he has learned how to be a little less transparent in his interviews in order to mislead other GM's so I really have no idea who he prefers between the two. He has been providing glowing reviews of both for 6 months

I seen a bit last week where he had better things to say about Brown the Dubois.

There is an interview on the Canucks website where he discusses prospects and he really seemed pumped when he discussed Sergachev, PLD and Tkachuk. I think he likes Brown but only if they trade down
