Bogosian is always the toughest player on the trainers table

And Myers is so good, such a #1 D, no team wanted him until the Sabres tossed in a heap of other goodies

You're going to absolutely love cam fowler then he won't hit or touch a hair on someone's body only if he has to ...

I guess he sucks though because he doesn't punch people in the face

- GERBE!!!75PTS

I believe a team needs different types of talents on the blue line, not all soft puck moving and not all physical but a combination of different skills and strengths. I'm not even sold on whether I want Fowler.

You do know the year we drafted Reinhart, Vancouver offered Hunter Shinkaruk and the 24th pick for Myers right? Basically 2 1st round picks.

I doubt Bogosian would even net us a late 1st

Shinkaruk has played 8 games in the NHL, between two franchises, and Vanvouver had to deny they "gave up on him."

This is not helping your argument.

He was a 1st round pick the year before. And Vancouver was universally criticized for trading him for Granlund.

But Shinkaruk isn't 6'2 so I guess I can see where you stand with him

Instead of deflecting to talk about Myers, why don't you attempt to prove that Bogosian didn't suck this past year.

The whole conversation was based on whether we should move or protect him, why should we protect someone who blows? Or prove he doesn't blow

It's 79 degrees out and the sun just went down: it's going to be a beautiful evening.

I'm sitting on my back patio, 2 rum drinks in, my kids are out for the night. My wife is finishing up dishes from a beautiful salad and steaks on the grill.

Probably won't be on til tomorrow, when I'll make a huge breakfast for my chilies and smile at the full extent of my blessings on Father's Day.

Play nice, boys. Talk to you tomorrow. Recognize your grounds for gratitude.

Thanks for saving me for looking up who the (frank) is Hunter Shinkaruk while I'm eating. I do remember that draft day offer and there are high first round picks, mid 1st round picks and low 1st round picks. That falls in the low first round pick category and I do not feel like looking up the stats at how many 24th overall totally bust, like Shinkaruk, but I'm sure it's high. TM was wise not to take that offer don't you think, Kane and Bogo are much better players and assets. Also, he already had 3 1st round picks the next year.

Would you rather the enthralling combo of McCabe and Gorges in your top 4?

They used pigeons as the first guided bombs. They would peck at a certain part and it would steer the fins on the bomb right to(hopefully) the intended target.

Using a similar method I know they also experimented with putting cats inside bombs so they'd hit ships instead of water. Hitting ships with unguided dumb bombs is really hard given the limits of the aircraft of the day. Because cats hate water. Seriously.

Again, the trade wasn't just myers for bogosian. The biggest point of the trade, which I have explained on here time and time again was to secure Jack Eichel. If myers is superior to bogosian like you always harp about on here then to you realize we may not have finished last. It sounds like you would sleep much better at night if our team is

Myers
Strome
Armia

Instead of

Bogosian
Eichel
Kane.

If you can't figure out what murrays bigger picture was maybe I can put it in coloring book form for you?

Sounds like total bullpoop, but gotta love this time of the year. Just going up to some rando and saying what your preferred destinations are. Maybe he was talking about pizza and wings?

It's been like a year and a half, I don't think he's budging unless and until Kane pots 40.

Again, like usual, I didn't bring up Myers. I honestly don't care about Myers and wouldn't be surprised of he's traded so WPG can protect Trouba.

And like usual, no one can provide any facts to back up the argument on why we should keep him or protect him.

So we should protect him because trading for him inevitably helped us get Eichel?
