While he was here he was consistently skated around by other players.
Looked completely lost
Was laying on the ice more than on his skates.
He's a 3 at best making a large cap hit. (your same issue with Bogo) - dadeadhead
Except he played as a 2 since he's been in Winnipeg, and has produced at even strength like a low end 1-2.
I don't think he's great like I used to by any means. But he's better than Bogo and I'm not sure that can even be debated at this point.
The trade doesn't suck because we traded him. It sucks because we identified a loose cannon 2nd liner, and an injury prone 2nd pairing D as two pieces to give up a couple really good pieces for

I am sure they will get another one soon but it won't be during the World Juniors.
Russ Brandon admitted that it would be extremely difficult to turn over the ice that fast.
He is right. With an outdoor ice and having to remove all of the world jr logos and put the NHL one up it would be almost impossible. It would take ideal conditions because the ice would have to be melted enough to pull the logos, repainted, new logos on.
With it being outdoors any rain or snow would kill the chances that the ice would be ready in time.

Can anyone fill me in on Vesey? Is he a UFA starting on July 1st, or is it some time in August that he can sign? I'm confused on this one. - Cup Crazy '07

Apparently he didn't see the Pens win the cup Murray, the Hawks would be better off moving Crawford for a 2nd and going with Darling and another discount option

That's the problem with the NHL... Any city not in Canada, Buffalo, NYR,Philadelphia or Pittsburgh if their team isn't good then no one cares. Boston Bruins fans are the biggest culprit of this. They acted like they didn't even have a hockey team in the early to mid 2000's then all of the sudden they are good and they get that "we're the best hockey city in the country" attitude that only someone from Boston can proclaim.
