So when I say "Hello, I'm here to meet nyrsucks", they'll all know what I'm talking about? That's odd. |

Pat Leonard @PLeonardNYDN
Today is Rick Nash's 32nd birthday. It is also likely his final birthday as a Ranger, in my opinion. But we'll see how trade market unfolds

I just do not see the Ducks and Nash as a potential thing
Getzlaf, Perry both 31 years old, Kesler about to be 32. They have 24 million a year alloted to those 3 already. Add 32 year old Rick Nash and his 7.8 million to that mix?
I just don't see it |

Also, why does EDM need to go through the Rangers to acquire Vatanen?
Couldn't they just offer up Draisaitl and someone comparable to Hayes for Vatanen themselves? |

The Ducks have been rumored to have interest in Nash with Vatanen being a piece going back bc they have to extend him and Lindholm. We can retain a mil or so if it makes the deal get done. Suprisingly the Ducks struggled offensively and could look at Nash and his 2 years remaining as their "window" with the other guys getting older. |

We get him first. EDM is looking for a right handed defenseman. They don't know they want him until we get him and offer him - nyrangers9479
As much as I think you're crazy , you definitely make it entertaining trying to get Draisitl here. |

In the off season these trade scenarios are fun to me. When I'm being serious I try and make trades that make sense. With that said, I think Draisitl could be a franchise center for us and do think we should do what we can to get him. |

I just don't think Edmonton is letting him go. Probably have a better chance at Hall. |

We don't need another winger unless we got Eberle somehow.(Desperatly need a right handed top 6 winger). |

I would take Hall over every winger on our team right now. |

He's going to cost us, and we still need a #1 center for the future esp if we trade Stepan |

Well I'm one of the few on here who thinks the Rangers will just be filling out the bottom 6. I just think with the contracts they have its going to be tough to do anything big.
With that said, if they were able to move Nash and open up that space, things could get real interesting. |

Yup. Would you rather move Nash for another player, or just picks and use that money for a certain UFA? |

Picks and prospects are preferred by me. But if you could get a NHL player and a pick/prospect for Nash that would be ok too. |
