The higher the cap the more escrow they withhold I think. But the higher the cap the higher the free agents salaries are so I guess it's a bit of a debate between players under contract vs free agents but it ultimately benefits everyone long term. The guys under contract now will eventually be free agents and a higher cap in the future only helps them get paid more. |
