Agree it is an over payment - but getting a young stud d-man will be worth it. Kapanen is not part of the future here IMO, in the Kessel deal Leafs wanted Murray but got Kapanen - not a good start as a Leaf.

But I do agree Kapanen will most likely be the young prospect to be moved.
Originally the leafs wanted Maatta....then Murray I believe

Kapanen was the youngest guy on the Marlies and was one of their best players all playoffs. He had a decent season in the AHL as a 19 year old kid. Why are people down on him so much? He has great tools. Id rather they hold ont him and see how he does next season as one of the top guys on the marlies.

THIS!!! I would be in no hurry to move Kap. Let's talk Leipsic, Loov, Percy, Bibeau, Sparks, and Harrington before we even consider moving him.

Even if we only obtain 3rd-4th rounders for a couple of these players, I believe Hunter will make the most of that opportunity.

Apparently the outcome of English citizens' vote re the referendum to leave yes/no EU might be influenced by how the English national team will do during the Euros.. (if the English team does bad, people will vote in favor or leaving EU).
