I think Lou gets a goalie. Teams are going to want full price this summer rather than waiting and getting 50 cents on the dollar right before the expansion draft.

You're right, though. If it is just one team then the chances are low. Anaheim needs to eject one goalie though. No chance one of them doesn't get drafted.

It's a tough one. Do they go after a legit D man like Berger has hinted, this way at least giving the goalie a top pairing...or do they try to make a deal with an Anaheim that has 2 apparent 1As.

The problem with that is that LA, apparently had the same problem....and we sure as (frank) know how that turned out.

I think the whole "build from the goalie out" thing is kinda BS. If you get a good system going, just about any goalie can look good, and you can win with just about anyone in net.

Goaltending probably has a much greater impact on poopty teams than it does on good ones.

In my opinion, no way they trot out the shiny new toys this year, for Babcock Year 2, after finishing dead last, in the Centennial year, with the outdoor game, and they undercut the whole thing with just Mandela in net. Not saying they find the saviour in net this year, but I'll be very surprised if they don't add at least something, something more than just this.
