It's OK. You're an Oilers fan, we're used to you guys being slow.

You better save some of those knee slappers for your upcoming junior school talent show.

Fully agree. SB doesnt hold a candle to TT....
- chompsey

I don't think their ceiling is much different. Also, SB is better suited to the grind of the western conference. He isn't big but he can stand up for himself where TT cant

I'm curious since I really have no clue, what is Boesers expected skill cap? Are we expecting him to be a 1st line player?
- NorthNuck

No. Not expecting (more hoping).
If he tops out as a solid 2nd liner, i think most would be happy with that.

TT was known for being a gritty player when he was drafted and is about the same size as SB, so I dont know what youre talking about....

I think TT has more potential, but Sven could very well end up with the better career.

I think it's too early to say that. With Sven you can't really look at his age because his growth was so stunted with Calgary, he's only now starting to catch up to where he should've been years ago. He could still turn out to be better than most are saying he will.
- NorthNuck

Great, SB has to catch up!. TT is already better and 2 years younger.....I know who I'd prefer...

JV and him are both RW.. Boeser has way better hockey sense and offensive upside I would say

TT is 178 pounds...im not disputing that TT likely has higher upside. If I had to make a prediction id say they both end up being productive 2nd line forwards. I don't think either will achieve more than that

So Boeser likely jumps right to the nhl next year in a limited minutes but point scoring role?

Great to know! If that choice is ever available to JB for free, be sure to let him know!

ESPN has moved TT and Bickell to Carolina's roster but McCann and Gudbranson are still on their old teams

Talk about being an emo...

What kind of improvement are you expecting out of Teravainen for him to be that much better of a player?

Both are undersized skilled players who still need to prove they can be more than tweeners.

They have both played 140 games in the NHL so far in their career, including playoffs, and 58 and 55 pts respectively.

Teravainen is 2 years younger but also has played been playing on the best team in the league.

He spent almost half his ice time last season with either Hossa and Toews (30.1%), Panarin and Kane (10.9%) or Kane and Anisimov (8.5%)

Lets see him playing with Staal and Skinner or Lindholm and Nordstrom and see how much he improves upon his 35 point season.

Probably AHL top line to start(depending on training camp) and then eventual call up to 3rd line.

Most of the people around here are too young to remember how Cloutier single-handedly threw away the best chance the Canucks ever had at winning the Cup. Single-handedly...
- stringerbell

Canucks did that themselves 5 years ago.
