I don't want to give up on him either but If someone wants him for a trade for a bonifide guy like Hartnell. I'll do it in a blink of an eye because I think Ennis is a HUGE ?? goign into next season.

His speed on Eichel's wing could be DANGEROUS!

Ennis could also have a spunge head and be afraid to use his speed and go into spaces now too and be a waste.

if someone better than him without concussion issues is coming back, fine.
A lot of people are talking about getting rid of him for anything, which is stupid.
if he comes back this year and pots 20, its going to help out a lot.

The way this roster is constructed right now. I could see the sabres choosing to freeze 4 forwards, 4 defensemen, and 1 goalie.

They won't waste a freeze on Ennis, no way is he selected right now with his uncertainty and cap hit. And I realize the draft will be next year, but still too much of a gamble, even for a team in Las Vegas.

Trading Moulson (if there are any takers), makes a ton of sense in that;

1. Know way he ends up top 6 on this team and it just doesn't work for him being on the 3rd or 4th line

2. He no longer is Jack's landlord

See thats the thing. Its one thing if you can trade him and get back a item of need (top 4 LHD) but i just dont think hes going to net you a player that will make a bigger difference than him when healthy. At least not now with his value where it is

And if you get a top 4 LHD for him, you're losing one of the 4 n the expansion draft: Risto, McCabe, Bogo or the newly acquired LHD

He also had some interesting words at the end of the season about training hard this summer, prepping for next season and taking the game a little bit more seriously. if doctors have cleared him, that sounds like a good attitude.

Whats with the 40/70 rule ? Ennis didn't play 40 games last season and need to play 70 this upcoming . Am I missing something ?
