Hey I'm not saying McD is not a good, possibly even great defenseman. I would love to have him as an Oiler. But the Oil already have Sekera, Klefbom, Davidson and Nurse on the left side. There simply is no real fit. On the right side they have Gryba and Fayne. Plenty of room there.
And I'm sorry but having a concussion history is a concern.
If I were to make a hypothetical trade for McD, it would have to include a LH D going back the other way. Nurse and the 4th maybe?
