Take the subway. It's easy are rarely there is a problem. Wait til you have to travel NJ transit.
- tomburton99

I live in jersey so I take NJ Transit

The subway sucks man. It's reliable most times but it's dirty and smells and is ridiculously hot in the summer and you're shoulder to shoulder with people.

Edit: also the subway isn't that easy depending on what part of the city you're trying to get to.

Duh. It's also the best public transportation in the country. Name another system that handle 4.5 million per day, in which system is over a century old.

It's efficient. The best or not depends on your criteria for best. Do you mean the best by volume of travelers it can handle? Because then yes, it's an extremely impressive system. But in terms of technology and quality the system as a whole is outdated, run down, and under constant repairs.

I used to take it daily, so I know all the negatives about it. But it's not as bad as most people make it out to be.

On the hockey front, why is there no noise around this team yet?

You hate the subway so much you'd think you were a train operator Could you imagine conducting one of those things all damn day long? (frank) that

In terms of time and travel per day it's the best. The Holland tunnel was closed for 2 hours today. Right after it open, a driver had a panic attack and abandoned his car in the tunnel.

(frank) that is right

I don't have an irrational hate towards it. I just dislike dealing with it twice a day 5 days a week every week of my life. It'd be so much nicer just driving 25 minutes in my own car to an office in north jersey, park for free, and then walk 20 yards into work.

Plus my public transportation tickets are like $170 a month

Traffic happens on the subway too. Every facking day a signal is under repair. What the fack does that mean and why does it have to delay me by 45 minutes???

Depends on where my theoretical north jersey office would be located. But I'd rather spend $170 on gas and tolls in order to drive my nice car at my pace blasting music and bumping AC/heat than deal with mass transit
