My guess is it won't take as much to move up as edm really wants to move down but not down to much. My guess:

Sabres trade #8, Pysysk and some grade B prospect or a 3rd pick to Edm for #4. With #4 Buf does not take Tkachuk but takes Dubois.

But trades a #2 and girgs for Fowler

Buf loses out on Stamkos, but sgns Boedker andr Okposo on 7/1

On 8/15 Buf signs Vesey

I think the chances of this happening will improve significantly once the Vegas team is announced. With the expansion draft rules in place, it sounds like both Tampa and Pittsburgh will have to trade one of their stud goalies. Calgary and Toronto are both looking and are obvious dance partners. This will mean 2 fewer "#1" goalie options for Johnson to pursue.

I hope we resign him. He was a pleasant surprise and the crazy Swede seems injury prone. We need a solid back-up and Ulmark needs some seasoning in Rochester.

Whatever the expansion protection rules end up being will have a huge impact on ufa and trades. Every team will lose one good to very good player. Las Vegas won't field your Dads expansion team roster - they should be good. Of course, $500m is a reason to be good from the start

Don't really want to trade for his rights... If he is going to hit FA then it means he wants to see what else is out there. I don't want to risk giving up a pick for him if Murray isn't 100% sure he can get him and he'll likely have to overpay big time to get him to agree not to hit FA... like bigger then 10.5... I don't think he deserves more then 10.5

Not sure how legit this is but looks like the long awaited Pegula sports network may be in the making. My guess is for the 2017-2018 season or at least when their contract ends with MSG. Will be nice to have a Sabres network again.
