The Ducks have a lot of work to do this offseason. Until he signs his contract I'll still consider him potentially available.
- chilliard77

Never happening. Hes our ristolainen. He absolutely will not be traded

Solid defensive D man and blocks a lot of shots.
- SABRES 89

Maybe we can take advantage of Jim 'Drunk at the wheel' Benning

Agreed. Stamkos is way more attractive imo.

I would be happy if we drafted Chychrun and signed one of Goligoski/Yandle. I also completely forgot Jason Demers, who is another potential under the radar signing that I would love.

I would NEVER trade anything close to the #8 For Fowler. Look at what the NYI traded for Leddy, who's a better than Fowler. I would trade #8 For Shattenkirk, he's all that. 89 - thanks for your insite, but, you're kid of covering all bases here. If we draft Pugula's family friend at #8 I say it's a huge mistake. He'll be a bust unless we can teach him hockey IQ. Maybe it can be taught??
- turbo044

This is where you find value adds.

I'd be ok with adding Fowler but not for the 8th. You could find similar value from a cash strapped team that needs to clear cap for less than the 8th.

I completely agree, if I were Anaheim he would be the last player I would trade on that team. But you never know what could happen, this is the same gm that just fired Boudreau and replaced him with Carlyle.

That's a little more interesting. Still not sure I would pull the trigger though.

You would be getting a top pair (on this team) defenseman and a 20 goal scoring winger to play with Jack. I would pull that trigger

sometimes money doesn't always work and if the Tampa moves Bishop, it changes a lot of things. Don't forget the Leafs as well.

I wonder about the timing of all this. If they actually think they have a chance at Stamkos I think they stay at 8. If we see a big deal at draft I think they must feel they are out of Stammer.

Every scout on the planet says Chychrun is a high quality prospect. Why do people here consider him a bust already?

I have no clue, because he looked bad in 1 game I guess?

That makes sense. Somehow Clayton Keller is a God amongst men and Chrychryn is garbage.

Took a step back this year when people expected him to continue to improve, drawing comparisons to Bogosian. A defenseman who is above average on every facet but leaves something to be desired offensively. Can be a #3-4 on a cup winning team.

Honestly if juolevi is off the board I wouldn't be mad if we picked him at 8. Keller will go in the 8-12 range. Looks like Parise 2.0, who by conincidence also went in the middle of the first round.
