Id imagine Sabres fans wanted McDavid so they'll boo him for that

1. I hope Stamkos signs with the Leafs. I would love to see the Leafs competitive again and adding him and Matthews gets them there immediately.

2. The Leafs DO NOT need a goalie to grow with the core. They need a goalie who can be the backbone of the team and not have a puck go behind him every time the young team in front of him makes a mistake. Fleury, Bishop, Crawford and Varlomov will all be available. They need to go out and get one.

Crawford I've never been overly impressed with, but might be an option.
Fleury... while I think he's a good choice, its not hard to turn this thread into a Fleury hatefest..

Agree with your thoughts on Stamkos - most Leaf fans are hoping it happens - I would think they will make a push for Andersen on the Ducks. Gibson is likely their guy moving forward and they don't want to lose Andersen for nothing - plus he is RFA - He is probably of more interest than Fleury, Bishop or Crawford.

There might be some fighting in the stands between Buffalo fans and Leaf fans. The sight of the sour look ( like he bit into a big piece of Shiit ) on Tim Murray's face after he did the epic tank job last year - trading goalies that had a pulse off the NHL roster - and he lost the pick
