What is the best case scenario with picks 30/31. Given we have a lot of contracts should we look at trading up? How high up do you think we could land and would it be worth it? - steve362
I know this sounds crazy, but I'll bet that if you took the #30 and #31 picks, and packaged it with Bozak and maybe Gardiner, you could probably get the 1st overall pick. |

Maybe that's why Prince was so adamant about not signing SS this year - he hasn't reached his prime yet. Two more years to go. |

No offense.... but I think people who vacation to places like Vegas are squares..
It's so phony, and people flock like sheep to these places just to get raked..
but whatever, I'm not a narcissist but I just find some things really lame. |

Package both to minny for the #15 if its purely moving up. Minny could use the extra picks.
I'm guessing they move down, not up. |

So hiring Babcock was useless? - H8terade
Not at all - you need the coach to get you there, and you need the assets to win, they are both important. RC won a cup against Ottawa - they had an inferior team to the Ducks (Selanne, Niedermayer, Pronger, Perry, Getzlaf) In an evenly matched final - the coach certainly can make the difference - that final was far from evenly matched.
Just saying IMO - Elmer Fudd could have won that cup against the Sens - so that cup does not make RC better than BB.

Yeah if you can hack it w/o spending a ton of coin then I guess it'd be sweet to see some of the grand canyon..
Jamaica would be nice.. I'm more of a natural park type of guy, but to each their own. |

You have to go to Vegas once - just to see the absurdity of it.
It's a fun place to kill a few days, and yeah, it can be cheap. Last time I stayed there was in the depth of the US recession, and we were paying $38/night for rooms at New York New York.
I'm not really a gambler, other than small sports bets. So I don't really have a burning desire to return any time soon, but I'm sure that sooner or later I will be back on the strip. |

Keep hearing Jacob Trouba's name mentioned in trade chatter leading up to July 1. Arizona is latest team. He'd make nice RH partner for OEL
interesting...both Trouba & Barrie out there. - MCharisma91

i like to gamble, the wife not so much, but she play BJ also...but am very cheap about it..which is why I like blackjack, $5 tables you can play for hours and not lose much (if you play properly)
first thing we do is hit up the walgreens and load up on booze and food so we dont have to buy any of that from the casinos then get any free drinks when we play.
we stay for 6 days...dont see shows..but make the rounds to as many places as we can. |

Yotes desperately need dmen. They have picks and prospects to trade.
Jets need to unload a dman prior to the expansion draft.
I think the fit is there and Tippet will have a lot of influence into personnel decisions.

I agree - shorter trips - for me are better - 3-4 days is plenty. I went a couple of times stayed a week and blew a bundle. Ended up going to Hawaii for four years straight after - was cheaper. The shows can be outstanding - saw the Stones play the Hard Rock Cafe - was cool.

I'm not the biggest fan of Juolevi personally. I didn't think he was that effective from what I saw in the Memorial Cup
I still think Chychrun is going to be a beauty, even if Button has him at 17 - WingmanWillie
Button is a toolbox - Does not get past the Sens pick at 12, I like the Russian kid, skates well.
