What would it take for us to swap picks with Minne? I'd love to steal Rubstov from Detroit. Seems like the exact type of player that would flourish in Hakstol's system. If they can do it with a 3rd I'd be all for it. He seems like the prototypical Detroit pick so I can't see him making it to 18.
Similarly if they can package the two 2nds and get back into the tail end of round one I'd love to grab Tufte or Gauthier.

I'd only move up for Keller. The rest of the #4-20 picks are so similar in quality.
Seriously, why was Sidney Crosby named the Conn Smyth? Matt Murray I understand but Crosby wasn't the best forward or overall player on both teams. Logan Couture and Phil Kessel made cases for themselves too.

This sseems embarrassing to me. - roenick97
I would have given it to Kessel or Martin Jones. The Sharks made it to 6 games only because of Jones, he was phenomenal.

It's rare that they give the award to someone on the losing team. I can't remember the last but I'm pretty sure it was before the '05 lockout.
But yeah, I would have picked Kessel or Couture over Crosby.
Not that it made any difference in how odd the selection was...but the award is to the player who is the most valuable to his team throughout the playoffs
