Well, to be fair, they have been a juggernaut since March. Earlier actually if you go back to the coaching change.
- MBFlyerfan

I remember seeing the Flyers play them in March and thinking that they finally got their poop together.

One thing I didn't think would happen was that they'd outplay the best in the Western Conference.

I think we're talking about trading the draft prospects

Well, that's a relief. Just cuts out the middle man.

I think there were matchups that the Pens wouldve lost.

Congrats to all the penguins in the world...it has been a while since they scored a victory over sharks

How'd you come up with that number? Schultz and Cole alone make 6, unless you're pre-rating Schultz.

Anyway, keep on hating every move that the Flyers make and pretend to be a fan.

??? How the hell do we agree on something? Is there a full moon tonight or an eclipse?

He has a point though. A lot of peripheral and rookie players absolutely stepped up with amazing performances.

You can say about almost any cup winner since the latest CBA. It is one of the reasons we need to build by drafting and developing

I seriously hate the Crosby penguins, but since they made the coaching change they've been the best team by leaps and bounds.

What would it take for us to swap picks with Minne? I'd love to steal Rubstov from Detroit. Seems like the exact type of player that would flourish in Hakstol's system. If they can do it with a 3rd I'd be all for it. He seems like the prototypical Detroit pick so I can't see him making it to 18.

Similarly if they can package the two 2nds and get back into the tail end of round one I'd love to grab Tufte or Gauthier.

I'd only move up for Keller. The rest of the #4-20 picks are so similar in quality.

Bellows, Rubtsov, and Kunin are my guys.

Also like Jones a bit, but go with the others first honestly.

Seriously, why was Sidney Crosby named the Conn Smyth? Matt Murray I understand but Crosby wasn't the best forward or overall player on both teams. Logan Couture and Phil Kessel made cases for themselves too.

This sseems embarrassing to me.

I would have given it to Kessel or Martin Jones. The Sharks made it to 6 games only because of Jones, he was phenomenal.

It's rare that they give the award to someone on the losing team. I can't remember the last but I'm pretty sure it was before the '05 lockout.

But yeah, I would have picked Kessel or Couture over Crosby.

IMHO

Not that it made any difference in how odd the selection was...but the award is to the player who is the most valuable to his team throughout the playoffs
