Well, I'm also against companies trying to monopolize products. For instance: if company A can offer a superior product, but company B can offer a product that integrates with one of their other products, people with that other product will/may buy from company B simply because "it works with this other thing."
It's not a bad thing, and it's smart of the company. And if you do your due diligence and find that advantages of buying a lower-quality product is still better due to the integration factor, then great. But several people that I know (not a lot, but some) will buy iWhatever's because, "It's Apple, it's better," and need that brand-new iPhone 75 or whatever they're up to the day it comes out. I also know a few who bought iPads, even when they didn't have a reason to buy one, because, "It's Apple, it's got to be good." - jmatchett383

I know you cannot simply dismiss how the Stanley Cup is won or any championship for that matter but the way the Pens won in 09 always bugged me. Nik Lidstrom and Pavel Datsyuk I believe sat for 2 or 3 games in that final. Two of history's greatest players for their positions. Now this time it wasn't about how the Pens won. More so about Sidney Crosby is handed the Conn Smyth and probably wasn't even within the top 5 best players in the Final.
It just discusses me so much because it's all about who he is. |

Kind of interested to see where Fleury ends up. With the expansion rules seemingly in place, he may well have played his last game as a Penguin.
I know it's apropos of nothing in particular, but I'm not back reading, getting into the stats argument or debating the impact of luck on a team's ability or inability to win a Stanley Cup.
Also, I have a strong gut feeling the Flyers trade up into the top 4-8 this year. No idea why, just a really strong feeling. Plus Umberger not being bought out by Thursday would be a shock |

Calgary makes most sense, but does he waive? I could see Carolina, TBH. |

If he won't waive for Calgary, can't see him doing so for Carolina |

Actually half of today was spent on arguing the merits of Apple TV.
Hexy always loves to explore trading up.....it's definitely in the cards. Idk who for though. Keller or Dubois are probably the only ones who excite me into giving up the required hefty assets. Love Tkachuk, but it's an expensive trade to make from 18 for someone who probably isn't a primary line driver. If it becomes unfeasible and we can get Luke Rubellows, I'd love to explore trade ups back into 1st or earlier 2nd. I have my 2nd round favorites. |

Calgary should be closer. But their last coach was a dumpster fire, their management brain trust is an old-school mess, and they will probably hire another bad coach.
I feel like Carolina gets it. They have the great front office/coaching to better utilize their talent. |
