The Pens were a total buzzsaw since the coaching change. They have been dominant for months. Nobody was going to stop them.

I absolutely HATE the Pens. Easily my most hated team in the league by a huge margin, but I do respect that they turned their season around, played some tremendous hockey and earned that cup.

they deserved to win the cup and they didn't have an easy path to the finals, and when they got there they dominated play in every game.

I hate em, but I can't take anything away from them. Easily the best team in the league since the coaching change and they played at that level throughout the playoffs.

It's a mystery or he just doesn't get it I mean that was the only major change. He wanted them to play with speed and create on offense and forecheck so other teams were forced to defend and couldn't attack. Totally a system implemented by the coach as opposed to a more defensive style approach before. It's what cappy wanted the isles to do last year but once other teams figured it out he just had no answer
