I should have written star money. Regardless, it's too much for him. - eichiefs9
I hope the next three pages are dedicated to what exactly super star and star money is. |

That WILL be the talk on the draft floor......that and malkin wants to be the guy so Chicago is the logical fit - Upstate_isles
Serious question, but if Malkin is saying that he wants to be "the guy" how can he be the guy on Chicago and not on the Pens. The Blackhawks have more talent... |

I really believe Superstar money starts at 7.5.
Star is any where from 5-7.5. |

I wasnt asking you specifically.....it was just in general. I read that he wants to be the guy somewhere, and that the Pens would likely trade him to teams out west (mainly LA, Chi, and Minn). All of those teams have top talent. So im confused as to how he'd be the man on those teams. |

None of those teams could even fit him under their cap, so it's a kind of irrelevant. It's the Eklund roomer muhsheen. |

Yeah but I can't help but feel he won the award more because of who he is rather than what he did. The Smythe was about the only thing he hadn't won at this point. - Wildschwein
I think Crosby was a beast on BOTH sides of the puck. Dominated in face offs to where the Sharks called him a cheater .
He has world class talent and is one if not the best in the world. Guy works his ass off on the ice and it totally gets his teammates going. Do they win without him?
Murray was good but he let in a couple softies in my opinion and Jones deserved the CS / MVP before him. Kessel and Letang are deserving but Sid is the Pens catalyst and he deserved the Con Smyth IMHO |

Probably in the Islanders current situation but look at the guys getting 6 to 7 in the league. It's crazy.

Well, in fairness the Rangers didn't give him the contract, but I would venture that gif is easily worth 7.8 |
