Nope, I heard Snow contacted Malkin before last nights game. That was after Malkin contacted EK and said he wanted to go his own way from Pitt. |

Meanwhile, Pavelski had a golden opportunity to tie that game 2-2 and missed. Kudos to the Pens for winning. They were the better team. |

Yeah, as much as I hate to say it. It really wasn't even a close series. Other than the game before last, Pens dominated play. |

Willing to bet it comes out in the next few days that Pavelski was playing injured. That guy looked like a pile of crap the entire series. |

Until the Sharks took a lead in game 5, they literally didn't hold a lead for one, single second in the first four games. |

Pat Marleau also did absolutely NOTHING. The pens were just the better team. |

You may be right.....
I know a lot of people love to chirp Crosby but he really is the best player in the world. |

I still hate the guy, but he has seemingly moved past a lot of his crybaby antics. I watched him take a beating a lot in the playoffs and he wasn't the same old baby-Crosby that we're all used to.
Now that I've said something positive about Crosby and the Penguins, I'm going to go volunteer myself for human napalm-testing. |

thanks for summary, doesn't seem Islanders have much to worry about then.
Hey did anyone else here think its a joke that Crosby won conn smythe.
I would have been fine with either Kessel or Murray winning it. Crosby getting it was a joke. |

To start the game, he was up against Big Joe on the draw. He gave him such a good two hand to the back of Thorntons knees, I thought for sure he'd get a minor. If it was the other way, there's no doubt a penalty woulda been called. |

exactly - Crosby was not part the discussion.
im not saying Crosby but amazing player, the point is Conn Smythe goes to the players that made the biggest impact to his team during playoffs. |
