Guy spent more time falling down than Hartnell or Okposo - eichiefs9
Dude never quit though. Just to small. Like a Zuccarello, without the skill. |

Great job by Art in figuring that out. - ses111
It won't happen, but for sh!ts and giggles I'd love to hear what it would take from the Islanders (sans Hamonic) to get it done.
Have to figure it would need to include Pulock, 19th overall and something else significant. |

If you're talking about Prucha I thought he was way bigger than Zucc? |

Well I think they listed him at 6'. More like 5'9.
But yeah he is still a giant compared to Zuke. |

Not unreasonable but then we're short a LHD and would have to sign someone.
Plus the Oil need RHD, not sure they'd bite on two lefties. |

Funniest thing I ever saw was B Boyle hugging Zuke after a goal. Looked like a father and his 8 yr old son. |

Or in the Boyle-family's case:
A father and his 8, year old sons. |

I dont really put that much emphasis on the RHD vs LHD. Certainly the isles dont as they had guys playing on the wrong side all season. But, if the Oil are looking for RHD that trade doesnt work. I was soley going on the fact that they now would have immediate NHL d man on their roster, and two "prospects" in Strome and whatever that pick becomes. If the Oilers took that deal I would do it in a heartbeat. |

I'd probably do that deal too, but the reality is that we'd be shipping out < $2M in de Haan's salary and taking on $6M in Hall's salary & having to add another defenseman.
That would be a large swing in added salary while still having to add some fwd depth. |

Buy out Grabo and trade Bailey to anywhere and your problems are all solved. |

I remember his 1st year with the Rangers and he looked like a giraffe on ice. Got some skating lessons from Barb Underhill and looked like a new man. Still not the strongest guy on his skates, but a hell of a sight better than his 1st season with the Rangers. |

Also, wouldnt pelech count against the cap for the league minimum if he played? Also Strome? |

Definitely a good bottom 6 guy......I think the Rangers really missed him, Cally and Stralman. |

Is it really that hard to buy out Grabo, and find any team (like the leafs) looking to add NHL talent? Trade Bailey to the Leafs for a 5th rounder.......not that hard. I dont think Bailey couldnt be moved. I just think Garth has a hard time letting go of his picks. |
