Stepan is extremely valuable to this team. He plays in every situation, is young, can handle the role of being a first line center despite not being that PPG guy, and he shows up to play in the playoffs.

I would hate to see him go.

I'm really torn on Kreider. Love him at his best but I'm starting to think he just is what he is. Can't get too high on his highs or too low on his lows.

Common theme among them all: each had legitimate offensive depth.

Having big names on defense, and in net, are entirely overrated.

Quality depth at forward is how you win the cup.

I think today and the next few days there will start to be a lot of things coming out. Probably a lot of minor signings that GM's sat on because they wanted to be polite and didn't want to take away from the Cup.

Now that it's over, I wouldn't be surprised to see some trades start coming out real soon, leading up to the draft.
