The draft is less than 2 weeks away.
If a big trade goes down involving Kreider, Hayes, Stepan, or anyone really I think it'll be within the next 2 weeks. - rangerdanger94
I think Hayes has some value, but Stepan would by far have the most, then Kreider. Do not want to lose Stepan.
Move Brass in a package if they could. |

Stepan is extremely valuable to this team. He plays in every situation, is young, can handle the role of being a first line center despite not being that PPG guy, and he shows up to play in the playoffs.
I would hate to see him go.
I'm really torn on Kreider. Love him at his best but I'm starting to think he just is what he is. Can't get too high on his highs or too low on his lows. |

Yup, its why I would rather trade Brassard.
I wouldn't mind doing a Brass/Kreider or Brass/Hayes package to possibly reel in something nice. If they do a Brass/Hayes they lose two centers and Lindberg wont be ready for a bit. Doubt that would happen.

I think all options will be explored.
Maybe the return Stepan could bring back is just better than what Brassard would bring back so if they go that route that's why?
Brassard is also 1.5M cheaper than Stepan which could play a big factor if he does get dealt.
I don't think Stepan is being actively shopped. Gorton doesn't WANT to deal Stepan so it isn't a matter of the best available offer getting him. If Stepan, or anyone really, gets dealt it will be because it's a good trade offer that makes the Rangers better. |

Took me a second to figure that out since I am not on FB. I wonder how many people will do this. |

This goes out to Bobd62, who trolled the Pens board off and on during the playoffs. Now the Pens have another more recent cup to lean on. How do their chances look now? |

Really don't want to lose Brass, but he would be a nice sweetener for one of Kreids/Hayes. Also don't thik Step is going anywhere, but you never know. |

Its funny, but I don't like Brassard as a center. Think he would be more effective on a wing with his shot.
I know people will bring up his goal total, but how many were multiple goals in a few games. I just think he is really horrible defensively to be a #1 center. |

I'd be in a medically induced coma from alcohol poisoning and drug overdoses for about 2 weeks before I could post on HB again |
