Got to meet him up in Ottawa at the All Star game a few years ago, before his stroke, he was still engaging, completely lit up the room, people didn't want to leave but Marc (or Marty) was there with him and took him away because if they don't Gordie wont leave and his mind was starting to wander so they had to watch out for his well being. It was amazing to meet him, shake his hand and talk to him. Such sad news but he fought a good fight, now he can rest.  |

i wish A V gave him more than force G man to play not near himself...
he does look slow tp react some times but his game is bridled or AV would not
have played him as much as he did..
I look fwd to the maturation of D men..when this kid finds his balance and space he's got the attitude and desire....
not like a feww dogs that wont hunt for NYR & desserve the exit with assets in return
must know what guys will play up to there potential not play to & get paid for that only... never gettin over the hump.....
