There was an excellent breakdown of it on WGR last week. It was a lot more possbile then I assumed it would be. Sure, we wouldn't be able to pay our bottom 2 D and bottom 6 forwards much but that's the way it has to be when you have stars.

I didn't make the argument but.......

It's only two years.

His regular season numbers are very good

The cost to get him should be low

He gets you into the playoffs but you'd better hope you have a very good playoff backup.


All that said and I'd still pass..........twice.
