you didnt address the d. i know somebody already commented, but stamkos will get 7 years. not sure if girgensons and foligno sign at those numbers (rumor was z wanted 4 and foligno wanted 3). im not big on eberle, but if thats the cost im all for it. a bit optimistic but thats cool. - rover16
Off topic...but...back to my Clayton Keller/Mikhail Sergachev drum beating. Craig Button of TSN has done his final draft rankings. Keller comes in at 6, while Sergachev is in at 8 (and top dman). Keller is the real deal. I really hope Murray doesn't let the size scare him off. Size is nice...but speed and skill is too. We have a lot of size in our lineup...now we need some high end skill to go with Jack and Sam.
Of note...Chychrun falls to 17 (the 6th ranked dman) according to Button. - gipper0073
I'm the biggest Keller fan - speed kills, just look at the PI/SJ series. He won't be ready for a year or two - has to add a lot of weight and strength. Hopefully he's not done growing too. If he was 6'0, we'd be talking about him as a possible 3rd overall pick.
Sergachev is the most NHL ready of the dmen. I like him the best of the bunch, I think there's a chance he plays next year. He's a lot more focused than your average Russian draftee- maybe that sways GMTM??

I'd love for Florida to go after Johnson. Even with Luongo here he stands to play a solid chunk of games. - Panthers88
That's the thing. Luongo is an undisputed starter on most teams. Johnson isn't interested in being a backup. If, however, all 30 teams see him as only a backup, and his price is reasonable, I don't see a reason why he wouldn't be back with the Sabres.

Anyone see read the rumor that the Yotes are willing to send 2 1st round picks, Max Domi or Christian Dvorak to the Leafs for the 1st pick. Bleacher Report had it.

I'm willing to accept a million bucks. Doesn't mean anyone's going to give it to me.

I doubt hes going to grow much more. Hes just a smaller guy that you are not relying on for his size/strength. Im not drafting him unless he promises to sign with us after a year of college.
