Basically they're these scripted "real" stories with this soft acoustic guitar in the background about some family man noticing how poorly other cars perform in certain situations and how well some other guy's subaru is performing in the mud/snow. It usually ends with 'And that's when we decided to buy a Subaru'.
It's quite annoying, only because Subaru tries to make the stories sound real and they're worse than your 1 pm soap. |

Those god damn stories are like watching alice in wonderland high on your favorite hallucinogenic. Not that I've ever done anything like that. |

My Subaru is going to suck in the snow... It's the only RWD they make.
Should be fun though when it snows here in Tennessee and they close the state down. |

The jury is still out on Robin Lehner, I know, but would it help to say the trade was worthwhile by pointing out that Bobby Sanguinetti is a 21st overall?? - Der Kaiser

I like it for the most part but there is still a hole on the blue line.
So my next question is who do the Sabres draft in this scenario? - Stripes77
Best LHD on the board, if not the best player available on the board. |

I was bored and made an armchair GM. What do ya'll think?

Since you asked to be judged.
-There's a ton of backup goalies available this year. Market is flooded with them. We can definitely do better than Dan Ellis, who frankly has entered Jhonas Hiller territory.
-So Ennis has been traded for Eberle? Sounds cool from our side.
-Third line is realistic. So is the 1st. Maybe Reinhart and Eberle switch, but that's nitpicking at this point.
-That fourth line is bad. Real bad. Fasching would be better served playing in Rochester in the top 6 or 9, learning his craft to bring to the NHL. Remember, those guys need to be very efficient defensively. So when you have Moulson, Girgensons and Fasching, you're going to get (frank)ing wrecked. That line needs to be anchored by someone who knows what the (frank) they're doing, like Legwand or Matt Cullen. Someone of that ilk. I think we have that guy in Schaller, but maybe for a year he can continue to develop his defensive prowess playing the wing next to a guy like Legwand. As for the 4LW... Delorian. Moulson is your 13th forward and Girgensons and Ennis would be traded in this scenario.
-Your defensemen look ok here. You could go a million different ways with a trade, so I'll only say that I don't see the point of Guhle jumping up here to play limited minutes unless he's added the proper amount of weight necessary. I think another year in juniors is definitely in the future for him. A number 2 Dman is hopefully brought in, whether it be short or long term. Bring in a long term guy and after Guhle is ready to join, one or two of those guys (Gorges, Franson, Pysyk) become expendable.
Not bad. |

you didnt address the d. i know somebody already commented, but stamkos will get 7 years. not sure if girgensons and foligno sign at those numbers (rumor was z wanted 4 and foligno wanted 3). im not big on eberle, but if thats the cost im all for it. a bit optimistic but thats cool. |

I appreciate the criticism. I did it in about 5 minutes. So not too much in depth thinking was involved such as the backup goalie.
Being a GM would be hard as (frank).
