The only problem is if he doesn't make the team he's not going to Hartford he's going to SKA. - tomburton99

He won't go. He'll just go back to the KHL. Either NHL or KHL for him. |

Its the part I don't like about the deal. I'm glad he has the confidence to think he can play in the NHL, but it would be nice if he had a bad start to send him to the Pack for a bit. |

IDK the rules but I don't he can back for the year if he goes to the KHL. It's risky. |

If he goes back to the KHL you can probably kiss him goodbye forever. They'll offer him big money to stay and he'll take it because just about any human would choose the route that offers significantly higher pay. |

Confidence is good, but I don't want to sit him nightly if he can't break the lineup right away. That could set him back. I just hope his agent talks some sense into that Russian blockhead of his. |

Christ. So "if" he has a bad start, he is most likely going to waste a roster spot, or they lose him for the year if they think he isn't ready. |

And to be closer to home which is already something in his head because we've heard about his fear of knowing little to no English. |

I'm sure Buch will have a great rookie season, followed by a Hayesian followup. |

I stopped doing that years ago ... If Buchnevich has a better rookie season than Hayes I will change my avatar to whatever you want. But If Hayes's rookie season was better you have to have a Hayes avatar of my choosing. |

Doesn't seem to be a worry for a lot of guys. TJ Brennan is running off to Russia. Jiri Sekac is going back.
AHL salary vs. a few million over in Russia probably makes it an easy decision. |
