He seems too slow for what we need.

but I would fly home to see him in the blue and gold and miller in net for the nucks

that would be epic

what are your thoughts...

i was reading that Lucic wants something like 6years-36 mil extension. Kings are offering something shorter and less money.

offer 5 year/26 mil? comes out to about 5.2 mil per year? would you try it?

he plays a tough game and seems like GMTM would like that grit and his numbers arent bad

His last contract was 6 per, I don't see him taking a pay cut

I think you need a bruiser for each line

deslaurers if he sticks does the 4th line
kane does the second line

maybe bailey for third line

does ror fit that for the top line?

lucic, stamkos, ror
kane, eichel, skunk
foligno, larsson, bailey
deslaurers, schaller, gionta

could do worse

That might be what LA paid him, but his contract was 3 years, 18 million

he was a 30 goal scorer then, now a 20 goal scorer

I doubt he gets many suitors for 6 per plus

I think Murray will pull off a draft day trade that will add some left wing potential. Something like:
To CBUS: The #8 and #88 picks, 2nd round in '17, Baptiste

To BUF: The #3 pick and Kirby Rychel.

CBUS is loaded at left wing and wouldn't need to draft Jesse P. at #3.

I just don't see a 28yo who scored 55 points taking a pay cut (today happens to be his birthday, funny enough). He may not get a 5-8 year contract, but I don't see his money dropping.

Zero prospects at left-wing that will make the NHL

That's why we should be focusing on drafting A forward for the first pick
And not drafting a defenseman when you can sign one on UFA day or draft one in the second round

And with Kane leaving you have no one to take his place

I don't think he stays when his contract is up ..

Maybe he goes home To Las Vegas or Vancouver
