Man Sullivan loves that guy. I've never seen a coach have a player's back as much as Sully has Phill's. All the story's that have come out over the last few months where Sully has said such great things and passionately lobbied for him to get on Team USA. Phil deserves this situation.

Don't move Flower... split him and Murray 50-50, make sure Murray wasn't a 1 and done type of goalie. If Murray stays legit, deal Flower whenever the time or offer is right. Could be at the trade deadline, before, whenever.

Love seeing Geno get on the scoring sheet but that play he made to stop a breakaway by intercepting the puck was big.

granted a lot of that is hypothetical at this point.

He's going to Calgary imo.. which all things considered, is a good thing. Fast, young team on the rise, he will do well holding down the fort there.

Defense wins Stanley Cups. I don't remember the last time Pens forwards were so committed to Defense.

It's obvious that Mike Sullivan's era in Pitt will soon be over. What a failure. He completely blew our chances to tank for Matthews.

Safe from what On this type of a team an average goalie will win a lot of games Too much talent not to. Look at how Osgood was in Det He was not all star quality but won a lot of games because of the type of team he played for When playing for the Islanders not so much

That made me laugh.

They definitely took on the demeanour of the their coach under MJ.

When you watch some of that video on Showtime, it's so obvious Sully has their backs. MJ on the other hand never said a word to the refs.
