i dont think he breaks 15 goals next year over 80 games. but if he does stuff like this, thats still money well spend. he causes so many mistakes. ends so many possessions. kills penalties fantastically. gets momentum going the other way. and generates for teammates, even when it doesnt end in points.

guy will be the worst goal scorer for 4 mil practically ever. but my god he influences a game in so many ways.

in the wrong system, i think that contract could be an albatross. but for right now, its literally the perfect embodiment for this team. and it helps get more out of kessel.

and speaking of which. (frank)ing kessel. my god (frank) all the detractors. if anything, his sniping/floating aspect has been somehat meh, but everything else? my god. the hustle from him. he (frank)ing wants this. he has to be so happy.
