Hockey girls > all other sport girls for looks... Maybe equal to soccer girls, they get some damn good ones.

You don't understand. Football players at Notre Dame are apex predators. They are gods. Even ugly ass linemen have a better chance of getting a girl on that campus than a male model.

Its funny how you tend to remember exactly where you were, and what you were doing when the won.. I still get chills watching this.

Totally agree on everything about Dumoulin. In my mind, he's earned that spot next to Letang for the foreseeable future. If Maatta returns to rookie year form, he's going to make a heck of a 3rd defenseman.
- YouMeAndDupuis9

Honestly with his foot speed, he's probably better suited for a second pairing role. He's gonna come back renewed after a healthy offseason of training and our defense is gonna be damn solid next season, if slightly thin.

He is your future, and hell he has to be after this season. I think you may have a taker for Fleury in Calgary, Toronto or Carolina. May not get much with that contract, but he is someone that should be able to move.

Injuries have always been the Pens downfall, a healthy group is showing what it can do.

- flyer_nutter

Eff off on the contract. Fleury's contract is fair for his value. That said, I'll save that discussion for the offseason.

Always amazed with who was on the ice....

Jordan Staal (2nd year player)
Max Talbot
Craig Adams
Hall Gill
Rob Scuderi

EDIT: No wonder it was a dumpster fire and if not for a diving save almost ended up in our net.....

I get the feeling Flower wishes he had a 2 million/per contract so he could just stay here

Must be killing him knowing whats coming.....

- TheGame316

He's going to Calgary imo.. which all things considered, is a good thing. Fast, young team on the rise, he will do well holding down the fort there.

Haha sounds like a sour grapes story behind this comment

Anyways, all I'm saying is even though Cole wasn't batting at a high handicap as a varsity athlete, given the amount of attractive women in South Bend (there are very few), it's impressive that he pulled what he did.

Actually no... personal experience from my younger brother being a top 3 runningback in the state for two years when he was in HS.

I am just very aware that girls will throw themself at a stud football player.

I'd be more than happy to add to Flower to get Bennett. Flower, the rights to our Bennett, and one of our seconds. C'mon, Calgary, you know you want it

Yep... but Brent Burns, at 6'5 250... didn't flop from 190lb Rust hook on his wrist.

Agree. Whoever remains of Daley, Schultz, Pouliot, Cole, Lovejoy to round out the rest should at least be serviceable.

Tonight also feels like a good night to look back on getting 4 years of Carl Hagelin for a UFA David Perron. He doesn't put up big points but man is he impactful. Hes part of the best line in hockey, a rockstar on the PK, almost single handedly changed our teams identity, and honestly is one of the few players I have faith in to put on the ice in any situation. What a huge addition and perfect Duper replacement (if not better).

I don't think so. Pretty sure you have to dress for over half the games in the regular season. Duper didn't do that. Bennett won't be on the Cup either. Nor Wilson.

Actually I don't think he gets it automatically. There is a criteria for names, and only so many allowed per team.

I'll have to look this up, but I saw the rules on a mini special the other day.

Of course, ANY player on IR or such, can be elected to be put on, if the team has space.

Can't say enough about Carl Hagelin. Guy's a gamechanger.
