One more mile to go. One more mile.
Murray played so well after a couple of softies the previous game. He came up big in the third. - acdc1206
Really, when you think about it. It's his MO. He might have a subpar appearance, but is nails the next game out.

Did anyone play harder than Sid this game? My god the man was full speed everywhere he went. - Zac_O
I did ... I was going hard all game. |

Yeah, he doesn't let a loss affect him the next game.
And now he can seal the deal on Thursday. |

So Geno is currently telling HNIC that he hasn't been sleeping much because of the baby... - MattStrat
As hot as his partner is; he needs to go to the hotel the night before the game and hire help.

I had to take a piss... who were the stars of the game? |

Cullen has been so solid
It won't happen, but I would have ZERO complaints if he were to win the Smythe... |

How awesome would it be to be Malkin right now? Just had a kid and is one win away from hoisting the Stanley Cup again with a nice three game cushion. Must be pretty fulfilling. Meanwhile I'm 23 and broke |

Its an MVP trophy... its still very heavily point based.
But he is a fair nominee for the playoff Selke |

One of my stars would be Dumo. He was tremendous all game. |

I said earlier today he'd have a better night because he's had few nights peace and quiet in a hotel and would be well rested. |

His best games this year were at center. I think we'd see more offense out of him at center.
Unsung hero of this game was Dumo. Tremendous performance from him. - madmike71
dumo. the offensive bad luck i really cant explain.
but dumo is already a fantastic defenseman. really solid. |

I'd go Kessel, then Murray, then Malkin.... or Fehr for the insurance goal.
Kessel made the plays over Malkin |

Dumo has turned into a pretty damn solid Dman in a short period of time. He alone has been a great return for Staal. We made out well, even if DP doesn't do anything IMO. |

I'd say Malkin deserves the 1st star. Murray 2nd |

Congrats guys.
That bottom 6 is a pleasure to watch. Enjoy a coach taking his team to nearly winning it all not playing that defensive first BS. |

Side note...
Ian Cole's lady....
zero idea why my dad asked what she looked like after the game XD |

Gracias ...
Funny, last year, we had the worst fourth line in the league. Always nice to have an effective one.
Don't get us started with the defense first BS. Not happy about that. |
